About
Najunde bakat palmok makgi is, in ITF terminology, a low outer forearm block (low outer forearm block). The outer side of the forearm, bakat palmok, blocks at a low level, najunde. The Kildare Taekwondo glossary links it to the walking stance, gunnun sogi. According to the UKTA (Caterham) syllabus it belongs to the terminology for 10th kup, that is, among the blocks practised from the very start. In the ITF tuls it occurs in six forms: in Chon-Ji it is the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th movement, in Dan-Gun the 5th and 13th, in Hwa-Rang the 9th and 20th; it is also contained in Choong-Moo, Kwang-Gae and Ge-Baek.
