About Shindo Yoshin-ryu Jujutsu
Shindo Yoshin-ryu is a traditional Japanese school of koryu bujutsu founded in 1864 by Matsuoka Katsunosuke. It combines the gentle principles of the willow (Yoshin-ryu) with aggressive striking. It was the main technical source from which Hironori Otsuka developed the Wado-ryu Karate style.
