About
Twimyo yonsok jirugi is a flying sequence of consecutive fist strikes in ITF taekwondo, in English the flying consecutive punch. In ITF terms, yonsok marks consecutive techniques, as in yonsok chagi, a consecutive kick, while twimyo marks a jumping version. The technique is one of the new movements of the tul Juche, the 2. dan pattern with 45 movements. It splits into two movements: in 43a the practitioner throws straight right-fist strikes while flying toward point D, and in 43b follows with upset-type right-fist strikes, ending in a closed stance. Who introduced the technique, and whether it is practiced outside the tul Juche, we have not been able to document.
