About

In ITF Taekwon-Do, sonkal najunde ap makgi is a low front block with the knife-hand that deflects a kick or strike to the lower trunk and groin. The ITF Taekwon-Do Australia glossary lists it as knifehand low front block. Kwang-Gae: movement 12 — the right knife-hand travels down in a circular motion and strikes the left palm; it differs from the same block at middle and high level in height, and here also in its circular path.
