About
In ITF Taekwon-Do, palmok kaunde ap makgi is a front block with the forearm (palmok) at the middle level (kaunde), protecting the trunk at the height of the chest and solar plexus against a punch or elbow strike. It differs from sonkal kaunde ap makgi in the surface: here the forearm, there the knife-hand. Choong-Moo: movement 24, performed with the right forearm in a sitting stance, followed by a high side strike with the right back fist.
