About

In ITF Taekwon-Do, dung joomuk ap taerigi is a front strike with the back fist (dung joomuk). The striking surface is the first two knuckles on the back of the fist, using the whip of the forearm; it targets the temple, jaw or nose. It differs from sonkal ap taerigi in the surface: that one strikes with the edge of the palm, this with the back of the fist. Ge-Baek: movement 11 and 31, with the left, then the right fist, in a sitting stance.
