German HEMA manuscript specialized exclusively in armored full-contact combat.
Gladiatoria is the name of a group of German fencing manuals from the 15th century. Unlike most unarmored HEMA writings, it deals exclusively with fighting in full plate armor (Harnischfechten). It uses the grasping of the sword by the blade (Half-sword/Halbschwert), blows with the pommel of the sword as a hammer (Mordhau), and fighting with a dagger and a two-handed hammer (Pollaxe).
