About Chidaoba
Chidaoba is a traditional Georgian national wrestling with a history of over a thousand years. Wrestlers wear a traditional sleeveless coat (chokha). The match is accompanied by traditional drums and whistles. The goal is to throw the opponent onto their back without using levers on the ground, with Chidaoba providing a significant foundation for both Soviet Sambo and Georgian Judo.
