Khai muay (ค่ายมวย) means “fighting camp”. In Thailand it is a training camp where fighters often live, eat and train, typically in the morning and afternoon. The camp is run by an owner and trainers, who arrange fights for the fighters. The fighter carries the camp's name as the second part of the fighting name. For example, Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn or Rodtang Jitmuangnon bear the names of their camps. When moving to another camp, the name changes too.
