About

Yop joomuk kaunde yop taerigi, in English side fist middle side strike, is in ITF Taekwon-Do a strike with the side fist (yop joomuk) to a middle level (kaunde) directed sideways (yop). The Slovak breakdown taekwondo.sk records it in the sequence annun sogi yop joomuk kaunde yop taerigi, i.e. with a sitting stance. In the tul Moon-Moo, per the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, these are movements 27 and 36. In movement 27 the practitioner lowers the left leg, then stamps the right leg in direction C into a sitting stance (annun sogi) facing A and strikes with the right side fist toward C; movement 36 mirrors this, left hand toward D.
