About

Ttwieo ap chagi, literally front kick while jumping (in English Jumping Front Kick), is a WT taekwondo kick combining ttwieo chagi and ap chagi. The Kukkiwon terminology dictionary explains ttwieo chagi as a technique in which the practitioner jumps and strikes the target, and ap chagi as striking a target in front with the foot. The Taekwondo Compendium lists it among the attacking techniques of the poomsae Taegeuk Pal Jang and notes that the kicks should reach at least collarbone height. The Phoenix Taekwondo photo breakdown shows it in Taegeuk Pal Jang as a stand-alone technique.
