About

Sonkal najunde anuro makgi, literally low inward block with the knife-hand (in English knife-hand low section inward block), is in ITF Taekwon-Do a block with the knife-hand (sonkal) directed to a low section (najunde) inward (anuro). It differs from sonkal dung najunde anuro makgi in the blocking surface: there the reverse knife-hand (sonkal dung) blocks. In the tul Eui-Am it is movements 1 and 14. According to the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, movement 1 is performed with the right knife-hand while taking up a left walking stance (gunnun sogi), movement 14 with the left knife-hand in a right walking stance. The Slovak breakdown gives it in the full form gunnun sogi sonkal najunde bandae anuro makgi.
