About
Sonkal dung najunde daebi makgi is a low guarding block (daebi) in ITF taekwondo performed with the reverse knife-hand, Korean sonkal dung. The United ITF Australia glossary lists it as reverse knifehand low guarding block. It differs from sonkal dung kaunde makgi in level: najunde means low, kaunde means middle. It differs from sonkal dung najunde ap makgi in that it is a guarding version, not a frontal block (ap). In the ITF tul Po-Eun it is the 18th and 36th movement, and in the tul Ge-Baek the 37th movement; in all three cases it is performed in the annun sogi stance.
