About
Sonkal dung najunde anuro makgi, literally low inward block with the reverse knife-hand (in English reverse knifehand low inward block), is in ITF Taekwon-Do a block performed with the reverse edge of the hand (sonkal dung) to a low section (najunde) inward (anuro). It differs from sonkal najunde anuro makgi in the blocking surface: that one uses the edge of the hand (sonkal). In the tul Eui-Am it is movements 31 and 36; per dotaekwondo.net, the block is performed while moving in the L-stance (niunja sogi), in movement 31 with the right reverse knife-hand. In the tul Yon-Gae it is movements 46 and 48, in the walking stance (gunnun sogi) with a slide of the rear foot. The Slovak breakdown gives it in the full form gunnun sogi sonkal dung najunde bandae anuro makgi.
