About

Sonbadak najunde anuro makgi, literally low inward block with the palm (in English palm low inward block), is in ITF Taekwon-Do a block with the palm (sonbadak) directed to a low section (najunde) inward (anuro). It differs from sonkal najunde anuro makgi in the blocking surface: there the knife-hand (sonkal) blocks. In the tul Tong-Il it is movement 4. The dotaekwondo.net breakdown describes a block with the right palm while taking up a left walking stance (gunnun sogi) with a slide of the right foot; the left fist is brought in front of the right shoulder. The Slovak breakdown gives it in the full form gunnun sogi sonbadak najunde anuro bandae makgi.
