About
Sang yopdwi palkup tulgi, literally thrust with both elbows to the side and back (in English twin side back elbow thrust), is in ITF Taekwon-Do a strike with both (sang) elbows (palkup) directed to the side and back (yopdwi). It differs from dwit palkup tulgi in that both elbows work, and the direction is side-and-back. In the tul Tong-Il it is the second part of movement 54. Per the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, the practitioner first delivers a high side kick with the right leg, then draws it in next to the left into a closed stance (moa sogi) while striking with both elbows.
