About

Sang sonkal nopunde anuro taerigi is in ITF taekwondo a strike with both knife hands (sang sonkal) at the high level (nopunde) directed inward (anuro). From the strike sonkal anuro taerigi, which the New Zealand ITKD manual lists as an inward knife-hand strike, it differs by the word sang: both hands strike simultaneously. In the tul Juche it is, per the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, the 31st movement: the practitioner shifts the left foot, takes a right walking stance (gunnun sogi) and simultaneously performs the high inward strike with both knife hands.
