About
Sang sonbadak soopyong makgi, in English twin palm horizontal block, is a horizontal block with both palms in ITF taekwondo; sang means both, twin, sonbadak palm and soopyong horizontal. The ITF Taekwon-Do Australia overview lists other twin-palm blocks, for example sang sonbadak ollyo makgi (twin palm upward block). In the tul Tong-Il it is, according to the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, the 11th movement: the practitioner lowers the left leg, slides it, and in the right L-stance (niunja sogi) performs a horizontal block with both palms, the whole movement performed slowly. The Slovak breakdown calls this movement niunja sogi sang sonbadak soopyong makgi.
