About
Sang joomuk ap jirugi, literally twin fist front punch, is in ITF Taekwondo a punch (jirugi) directed forward (ap) with a twin fist (sang joomuk). The ITKD technique manual lists a related punch, sang joomuk sewo jirugi (twin fist vertical punch), which differs from it by the qualifier sewo, vertical, instead of ap, front. In the tul Tong-Il it is movement 1, per the breakdowns of both dotaekwondo.net and taekwondo.sk. Dotaekwondo.net describes it as a middle punch with the twin fist while moving the right foot into a left walking stance (gunnun sogi); taekwondo.sk names it in English twin fist middle punch.
