About
Nopunde palmok daebi makgi, literally forearm high guarding block, is in ITF taekwondo a guarding block (daebi makgi) with the forearm (palmok) at the high level (nopunde). From the block kaunde palmok daebi makgi, which ITF Taekwon-Do Australia lists as a middle-level forearm guarding block, it differs by level: nopunde means high, kaunde middle. In the tul Se-Jong it is, per the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, the 9th movement: the practitioner shifts the right foot and takes a left fixed stance (gojung sogi), in which the high forearm guarding block is performed.
