About

Nopunde bandal jirugi, literally high crescent punch, is in ITF Taekwondo a punch (jirugi) at a high level (nopunde); bandal means crescent. The tul breakdown on taekwondo.sk gives it in the full form gunnun sogi nopunde bandae bandal jirugi, that is, with the walking stance and the qualifier bandae, reverse. It differs in tool from the strike bandalson nopunde bandal taerigi in the tul Juche: here it is struck with the fist, there with the arc hand (bandalson). In the tul Eui-Am it is movement 12 and 25, per the breakdowns of both dotaekwondo.net and taekwondo.sk. Movement 12 is described by dotaekwondo.net as a high crescent punch with the right fist while setting the left foot down into a left walking stance (gunnun sogi); movement 25 is mirrored, with the left fist.
