About

Najunde jirugi, in English low punch, is in ITF Taekwon-Do a punch (jirugi) to a low level (najunde). The Slovak breakdown taekwondo.sk records it in the sequence kyocha sogi najunde jirugi, i.e. with an X-stance. From naeryo jirugi (in English downward punch) it differs by name: najunde denotes the level, naeryo the downward direction. In the tul Moon-Moo, per the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, these are movements 56 and 57. In movement 56 the practitioner jumps in direction C into a right X-stance and punches low with the left fist, placing the right fist on the left shoulder; movement 57 mirrors this in direction D.
