About
In ITF terminology, moorup chagi is a knee kick (knee kick); the UKTA (Caterham) syllabus lists it as a knee front kick and places it among the attacking techniques required for the 3rd kup exam. The Kildare Taekwondo glossary gives the form murup ollyo chagi, a rising knee kick. Whether this is another name for the same technique or a separate variant, we have not been able to confirm. In the tuls it appears as the 12th movement of Choong-Moo and the 21st movement of Toi-Gye.
