About
Moa seogi, literally closed stance (in English Closed Stance), is a WT taekwondo stance the Kukkiwon terminology dictionary describes as follows: the inner edges of both feet are fully together and both knees are straight. Seogi means stance. The Taekwondo Compendium lists it among the stances of the poomsae Taegeuk Sah Jang, Taegeuk Oh Jang, Taegeuk Chil Jang, Taegeuk Pal Jang, Keumgang, Taebaek and Pyongwon. In Taegeuk Chil Jang, per the Phoenix Taekwondo photo breakdown, it is taken with a covered fist position the Compendium calls bo jumeok junbi jase. For Taebaek the Compendium notes that when moving into dwit gubi the feet in moa seogi should be turned 30° to the left with the knees kept bent.
