About
Kaunde palmok daebi makgi is, in ITF terminology, a middle forearm guarding block (middle forearm guarding block). It is a double block with the forearm at middle level, kaunde; the word daebi denotes a guarding, watching position. The Kildare Taekwondo glossary gives, under a similar description, bakat palmok daebi makgi, an outer forearm guarding block. It is a different variant and must not be confused with this one. It occurs in four tuls: in Won-Hyo as the 27th and 28th movement, in Joong-Gun as the 26th and 28th, in Po-Eun as the 1st and 19th, and in Ge-Baek as the 17th and 18th movement.
