About

Jeocheo jireugi, literally turning-over punch (in English Turn-Over Punch), is a WT taekwondo punch which the Kukkiwon terminology dictionary explains as striking the opponent with a fist that rotates during the strike. Jireugi means a fist punch. In the poomsae Taegeuk Chil Jang the Taekwondo Compendium lists it in its two-fist form du jumeok jeojhyeo jireugi (Double Turn Over Punch). Per the Phoenix Taekwondo photo breakdown it appears there twice, each time in the rear crossed stance dwi kkoa seogi.
