About
Dung palmok ap taerigi, in English back forearm front strike, is a strike with the back of the forearm (dung palmok) directed forward in ITF taekwondo; ap means front, forward. The ITF Taekwon-Do Australia overview lists the back of the forearm among the tools for blocking and striking alike. In the tul Tong-Il it is, according to the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, the 39th movement: the practitioner draws the right leg to the left knee, takes the left one-leg stance (waebal sogi) and strikes the left palm with the back of the right forearm. The Slovak breakdown calls this movement waebal sogi dung palmok ap taerigi. The dotaekwondo.net breakdown lists the same strike into the palm also in the 21st movement of the tul Se-Jong, but the Slovak breakdown has a back-fist strike there (dung joomuk yobap taerigi); which breakdown is correct we could not establish.
