About
Dung joomuk nopunde yobap taerigi, literally high back-fist side-front strike, is in ITF Taekwondo a back-fist strike (dung joomuk) at a high level (nopunde) in the yobap direction, side-front. It differs in direction from the strike dung joomuk yop taerigi, which the ITKD technique manual lists as backfist side strike: yop means sideways. The breakdown on taekwondo.sk adds to the name the qualifier bandae, reverse. In the tul Choong-Jang it is, per the breakdowns of both dotaekwondo.net and taekwondo.sk, movement 34 and 36. Movement 34 is described by dotaekwondo.net as a high side-front strike with the right back fist, in which the right elbow strikes the left palm, in a left walking stance (gunnun sogi) with the left foot sliding; movement 36 is mirrored.
