About

Doo palmok najunde mirro makgi is, in ITF terminology, a double forearm low pushing block (double forearm low pushing block). The tool is both forearms, doo palmok, at the low level, najunde. The UKTA (Caterham) syllabus gives it for 3rd kup in the shortened form doo palmok miro makgi. The pushing block directs force forward against a pushing attack; this distinguishes it from the pressing block, noollo makgi, which presses the attack downward against a low attack. According to Taekwondo Nation, it deflects a pushing attack and creates space for a counterattack. It differs from sonbadak mirro makgi in that both forearms work instead of a single palm. In the tul Toi-Gye it is the 19th movement.
