About
Doo bandalson makgi, literally double arc-hand block (in English double arc-hand block), is in ITF Taekwon-Do a block whose striking surface is the arc-hand (bandalson, in English arc-hand). The Korean terminology of UK-TKD Luton lists it under this name. The block list of ITF Taekwon-Do Australia lists the high variant doo bandalson nopunde makgi separately; the Slovak breakdown taekwondo.sk has it in movement 11 of the tul Sam-Il. The dotaekwondo.net breakdown describes it as a middle block with the double arc-hand in a walking stance (gunnun sogi): in the tul Se-Jong as movement 18 in a left walking stance, in the tul So-San as movement 34 in a left and movement 42 in a right walking stance, in both cases with the gaze between the hands.
