About
Bakat palmok nopunde bakuro makgi, literally high outer forearm outward block, is in ITF Taekwondo a block with the outer side of the forearm (bakat palmok) at a high level (nopunde) directed outward (bakuro). It differs in direction from the block bakat palmok nopunde bara ap makgi, which ITF Taekwondo terminology lists as high front block: ap means forward, bakuro outward. In the tul Sam-Il it is movement 8, and in the tul Yoo-Sin movement 52, per the breakdowns of both dotaekwondo.net and taekwondo.sk. In Sam-Il, dotaekwondo.net describes it as a high outward block with the right outer forearm, performed together with a low block with the left forearm in a right L-stance (niunja sogi). In Yoo-Sin it follows a wave kick (doro chagi) and is performed in a sitting stance (annun sogi).
