Ap palkup taerigi, in English front elbow strike, is in ITF Taekwon-Do an elbow strike (palkup) directed forward (ap). It is listed by the technical manual of International Taekwon-Do New Zealand, which also lists the upward elbow strike (wi palkup taerigi). Per the dotaekwondo.net breakdowns, it occurs in movement 19 of the tul Sam-Il, movements 15 and 20 of the tul Choi-Yong, and movement 7 of the tul Ul-Ji. In all four movements the practitioner strikes with the front elbow into the palm of the other hand, in Sam-Il and Choi-Yong in a walking stance (gunnun sogi), in Ul-Ji in a sitting stance (annun sogi).
