About
Anuro nopunde sewo chagi, literally high inward vertical kick, is in ITF taekwondo a vertical kick (sewo chagi) aimed inward (anuro) at a high level (nopunde). The ITKD New Zealand technique manual lists the vertical kick in two directions, inward (anuro) and outward (bakuro); its counterpart is therefore bakuro sewo chagi. In the tul Tong-Il it is movements 8 and 10 according to the dotaekwondo.net breakdown; the name Anuro Nopunde Sewo Chagi is given by the taekwondo.sk breakdown. Movement 8 is described by dotaekwondo.net as a kick inward with the right outer edge of the foot (balkal dung, in English reverse footsword) into the left palm, movement 10 mirrors it with the left leg into the right palm.
