About
An palmok hori makgi, literally inner forearm waist block, is in ITF taekwondo a block with the inner forearm (an palmok); hori makgi means a block at the waist. From the block bakat palmok bakuro hori makgi, which ITF Taekwon-Do Australia lists as an outer forearm waist block, it differs by the side of the forearm: an means inner, bakat outer. In the tul Yon-Gae it is, per the dotaekwondo.net breakdown, the 38th and 41st movement. In the 38th movement the practitioner turns counterclockwise into a left back stance (dwitbal sogi) and blocks with the right inner forearm, in the 41st movement the same mirrored with the left arm.
