The manuscript Cod. Pal. Germ. 430 (stored in Heidelberg) dates from the mid-15th century. It constitutes an important source of the German school of the Liechtenauer tradition. It contains detailed illustrations for fighting with a two-handed long sword, dagger, wrestling and fighting in armor.
