About Silambam Nillaikalakki
Silambam Nillaikalakki is the most widespread traditional branch of southern Tamil martial art with a bamboo pole. The name 'Nillaikalakki' means 'squeezing and unbalancing'. It teaches lightning-fast rotations of a 1.5-meter pole, constant changing of stances and defense against multiple attackers.
