About Shin Muso Hayashizaki-ryu
Shin Muso Hayashizaki-ryu (also Hayashizaki-ryu) was founded by Hayashizaki Jinsuke Shigenobu in the late 16th century. It is considered the founding source of all modern Iaido and Iaijutsu schools. It teaches the immediate drawing and slashing of a supplementary long sword in response to a sudden attack.
