About Schoren Wrestling
Schoren is an ancient Swiss variation of the traditional Schwingen wrestling. Wrestlers wear special short linen trousers (Zwilhhosen) and wrestle in a circle littered with sawdust. The goal is to grab the opponent by the belt and throw him to the ground with both shoulder blades.
