Maphilindo Silat was created by Guro Dan Inosanto (Bruce Lee's closest student). The name is a combination of the countries MAlaysia, PHILippines and INDOnesia. The system combines the most effective principles of Southeast Asian martial arts: low stance, finger leverage, tactical knife fighting and devastating strikes.
