Cookies
Which cookies the site uses, what is stored without consent and how to change your choice at any time.

What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Local browser storage (localStorage) works in a similar way — but unlike a cookie, its contents are not sent to the server with every request.
Impaku uses both: local storage to remember your consent choice, and cookies for traffic measurement, and those only after you have given consent.
How consent works
The default state is refusal. Until you give consent, the analytics and marketing categories are disabled through Google Consent Mode v2 and no analytics cookies are set.
The “Reject all” and “Accept all” buttons sit side by side on the banner and are equally prominent. Refusing is as easy as consenting and has no effect on your use of the site.
Overview
Necessary — set without consent, cannot be switched off:
- impaku_consent — local browser storage. Holds your consent choice so that the banner does not ask again on every page load. Lifetime 12 months. Never leaves your browser.
Analytics — only with your consent
Once consent is given, Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) is loaded and sets these cookies:
- _ga — lifetime 2 years. Distinguishes individual browsers so that a repeat visit is not counted as a new one.
- _ga_G-M8BW79RMTY — lifetime 2 years. Maintains session state for this measurement ID.
Marketing
We use none. The site carries no advertising and has no advertising tools deployed. The category is present on the consent banner in case that changes in future — until it does, it stays empty.
What happens if you do not consent
No analytics cookie is set and no identifier is created. In that case Google receives only an anonymous signal that a page was viewed, without cookies and without any data by which you could be recognised. It serves as a rough estimate of overall traffic.
The site works without restriction. Refusing consent has no effect on the availability of any part of the content.
How to change or withdraw your choice
At any time, through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page or the button below this text. The change takes effect immediately.
You can also delete stored cookies directly in your browser settings, under website data. Doing so also deletes the stored consent choice and the banner will appear again.
After 12 months we ask for consent again of our own accord.
Third-party cookies
Apart from Google Analytics 4, the site embeds no third-party content that would set cookies — no embedded videos, maps, fonts from external services or social media buttons.
