General overview of grades

This ladder is not yet attributed to a specific organisation. Federations differ in belt colours and time requirements.

In the Israeli tactical system Krav Maga, global federations (IKMF / KMG) replaced traditional belts with a patch structure: Practitioner (P1–P5), Graduate (G1–G5), Expert (E1–E5), and Master (M1–M3). Ranks evaluate instinctive self-defense against armed threats (knife, stick, firearm) and stress-survival tactics.

Practitioner 1 (P1)
