This ladder is not yet attributed to a specific organisation. Federations differ in belt colours and time requirements.

Jeet Kune Do (JKD), created by Bruce Lee in the 1960s, rejected traditional belt ceremonies, though certified academies (Inosanto Academy) use a Phase structure (Phase 1 to Full Instructor). Training measures adaptability, non-telegraphed intercepting strikes, distance fluidity, and personal combat efficiency.
