What it is about
A band of samurai is tasked with killing the shogun's cruel brother and turns a whole village into a trap.
The fighting in it
The closing battle runs close to forty-five minutes and is a rare attempt to show what exhaustion does to a swordsman: blades blunt and break, technique falls apart and the fight turns into grappling. The genre almost never shows this.
