This ladder is not yet attributed to a specific organisation. Federations differ in belt colours and time requirements.

Yoshinkan Aikido, founded by Gozo Shioda in 1955, is renowned for its rigid, methodical training used by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police. The 10 Kyu and 5 Dan cascade demands total precision in the 6 Kihon Dosa basic movements, Hiriki-no-chikara elbow power, and instant joint lock immobilization.
