This ladder is not yet attributed to a specific organisation. Federations differ in belt colours and time requirements.

Wu Style Taijiquan, founded by Wu Quanyou and Wu Jianquan in the 19th century, is renowned for its medium-compact stances and signature parallel body-axis leaning. The Duanwei system (1st to 6th Duan) evaluates subtle Kai-He (open/close) coordination, Tui Shou sensitivity, and effortless force redirection.
