This ladder is not yet attributed to a specific organisation. Federations differ in belt colours and time requirements.

Thaing is the umbrella term for Myanmar's (Burmese) traditional martial arts, encapsulating Bando (unarmed), Banshay (weapons), and Lethwei. The 6-sash hierarchy (White Sash to Black/Gold Saya) evaluates animal combat systems, Dha sword fencing, staff, Kukri dagger, and self-defense.

1st Level – White Sash

Highest Saya title. Keeper of the integrity of Burmese martial arts and culture.
