This ladder is not yet attributed to a specific organisation. Federations differ in belt colours and time requirements.

Yang Style Taijiquan, founded by Yang Luchan in the 19th century and popularized by Yang Chengfu, is the most widely practiced Tai Chi style globally. The Duanwei system (1st to 6th Duan) evaluates large, smooth, continuous movements, deep internal grounding, 24 and 108 forms, Tui Shou, and Yang Jian straight sword.

1st Duan – White Level
