Harimau Silat (Sumatran Tiger Silat) from the Minangkabau region of West Sumatra is famous for its ground-based tiger combat posture. The 6-sash Sabuk hierarchy (Sabuk Putih white to Sabuk Emas gold / Guru Besar) evaluates low ground-crawling stances, supine kicks, heel-hook takedowns, and curved Kerambit knife combat.
