Negishi-ryu Shurikenjutsu, created by Negishi Shorei in 19th-century Edo Japan, is a specialized samurai koryu school of throwing straight steel spikes (Bo-shuriken). Its 5-license hierarchy (Shoden to Menkyo Kaiden) evaluates non-spin throwing (Jiki-tai-ho) of heavy octagonal Omo-daka spikes, target precision, and concealed drawing.

Shoden (Beginning Transmission)

Chuden (Middle Transmission)

Okuden (Deep Transmission)
