Kuntao (Kuntaw / Kuentao) is the traditional martial art of the Chinese diaspora in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines), blending Southern Chinese Kung Fu with Pencak Silat and Eskrima. The 5-level hierarchy from Murid student to Guru Tua master evaluates rapid fist striking, joint locks, takedowns, and blade/stick combat.

1st Level – Murid (Student)

Full master rank Guru. Mastery of complete family weapon and empty-hand system.

Highest achievable title. Living legend & main keeper of Chinese-Indonesian heritage.
